Welcome to the Linden House Veterinary Centre Website - About Us
| Practice History
Linden House Veterinary Centre was started in 1986 in Roydon. The practice was run in those days from two rooms of a house. In 1991 the practice moved to premises on Victoria Road in Diss. In July 2002 it expanded to a state of the art veterinary practice including X-ray facilities, an ultra sound machine and in-house laboratory facilities. We are a Veterinary Nursing Training and Assessment Practice (TP). Linden House Veterinary Centre treats pets in their purpose built animal hospital which now includes separate dog and cat wards. The vets treat small animals out of hours in rotation, and should the worst happen, Linden House has a well equipped operating theatre.
Practice facilities include:
Services provided at Linden House:
Consultations Linden House Veterinary Centre offers all appointment surgeries. The practice is open 8:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday morning. If you have a preference, please ask to see a particular vet when you make the appointment. Emergencies During normal hours please telephone the surgery so that arrangements can be made for a priority appointment. Outside normal hours the telephones will be diverted to a staff member of Linden House or a recorded message giving you the number of the duty vet. Home visits Linden House is pleased to offer a home visits service. It should be noted that we are not able to offer the full range of services that are available at the surgery. Home visits incur an additional charge. Repeat Prescriptions Please give 24hrs notice prior to collecting repeat prescriptions. Operations Animals coming in should have nothing to eat from 6pm and nothing to drink from bedtime. We like animals to come in between 8 and 9am. Any aftercare advice will be given to you at an appointment when you collect your pet. In some cases, particularly older animals, we may recommend a health profile prior to the anaesthetic. Payment All payments are due at the time of treatment. We accept cash, cheques or credit/debit cards. Information on pet insurance and the PDSA Pet Aid Scheme is available from reception.
